Ashlynn Messer is a senior food science major with minors in chemistry and health professions. She is from Lubbock and is a third generation Red Raider. Throughout college she has been involved in the Davis College Matador Institute of Leadership Engagement (MILE) Program, undergraduate research, meat science quiz bowl, and is serving as Vice President of the Agricultural Educators of Tomorrow. Outside of TTU she is active at The Well Student Ministry at Sunset Church of Christ and served as a counselor at White River Youth Camp for two summers. She is thankful for the support of the Texas Tech Credit Union as it has allowed her to expand on these opportunities and make the most of her college experience without financial burden.
