On February 1st, Lubbock Telco Federal Credit Union members transitioned to Texas Tech Credit Union and all account and member information was converted.
In January, you should have received a Welcome Packet in the mail containing details about your new account, including member number and account number. If you did not receive this packet, please contact us (806) 742-3606 or by using our new "Let's Talk" feature available in the bottom right corner of every page, and one of our Member Service Representatives will be happy to assist you.

The current names, features, and benefits of your Lubbock Telco Federal Credit Union savings accounts will change and be migrated to Texas Tech Credit Union’s Save account. Any new accounts opened on or after February 1, 2024, will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Texas Tech Credit Union products.
Yes. You can apply for a loan from Texas Tech Credit Union prior to the merger date. Please contact us about opening additional deposit accounts, and we will assist you.
Your designated joint owners and beneficiaries will remain the same. They will automatically transfer over to your new Texas Tech Credit Union accounts. If you wish to make changes prior to February 1, 2024, please contact Lubbock Telco Federal Credit Union.
Your deposits at both credit unions are covered by an NCUA insurance rule that protects members with a combined balance over the $250,000 limit for six months after a merger. For more information about NCUA coverage, visit NCUA.gov or call toll-free 1.800.755.1030.

Yes. Lubbock Telco Federal Credit Union members can register as a new user by visiting TexasTechFCU.org/online-banking-login or by downloading the Texas Tech Credit Union mobile app. Please follow the registration steps with your new Texas Tech Credit Union account information.
IMPORTANT: Texas Tech Credit Union follows an individual-centric model, which means you will have access to any account of which you are an owner, joint owner, or authorized user after you register and log in. Each ownership type listed above can register for our digital banking services and create a unique username and password.

No. The conversion could not support a transaction history migration. Your transaction history can be viewed on your electronic statements within digital banking or by speaking with one of our Member Service Representatives after February 1, 2024. Yes. Automatic transfers that you have set up between your accounts at Lubbock Telco Federal Credit Union will continue to occur once the merger is complete. If you have an automatic transfer from your savings to make a loan payment, the payment will continue to be transferred to your loan on the payment due date.
Texas Tech Credit Union will honor any ACH debits and credits and route them to your account through July 31, 2024. Your account and routing number will change. Your new routing number will be 311386073. You will receive communication from Texas Tech Credit Union about the details of your new account number before February 1, 2024.
ACTION REQUIRED: You need to contact companies that automatically deposit or withdraw payments from your account to update your routing number and account number. Make sure they understand the changes will not be effective until February 1, 2024.
Texas Tech Credit Union will honor any ACH deposits and will route them to your account through July 31, 2024.
ACTION REQUIRED: You need to contact your Employer’s Payroll Department and give them your new Texas Tech Credit Union account number and routing number, 311386073, to avoid any account disruptions. Texas Tech Credit Union will continue to accept your direct deposits from Social Security through July 31, 2024.
ACTION REQUIRED: You need to contact the Social Security Administration office and give them your new account number and Texas Tech Credit Union’s routing number, 311386073, to avoid any account disruptions. You will receive communication from Texas Tech Credit Union about the details of your new account number before February 1, 2024. It may take up to 180 days for the Social Security Administration to update this information. You can change your Social Security direct deposit information from Lubbock Telco Federal Credit Union to Texas Tech Credit Union through any of the following options:
1. Online – Visit the Social Security website at SSA.gov and select the “Update direct deposit” link.
2. Call the Social Security Offices at 1.800.772.1213 (TTY 1.800.325.0778).
3. Visit Lubbock’s local Social Security Office: 5825 16th Street, Lubbock, TX 79416, M-F from 9 AM to 4 PM. NOTE: This office closes at noon on Wednesdays.

Yes. Your loan number will change. You will receive communication from Texas Tech Credit Union about the details of your new loan number before February 1, 2024.
If your payment is set up through your Lubbock Telco Federal Credit Union account, then your automatic loan payment will continue as scheduled. If your loan payment is set up through another financial institution or provider, you will need to contact them to provide your new account number and Texas Tech Credit Union’s routing number, 311386073, effective February 1, 2024. You will receive communication from Texas Tech Credit Union about the details of your new account and loan number before February 1, 2024.
Beginning February 1st, visit any of Texas Tech Credit Union’s convenient locations or mail your check payable to Texas Tech Credit Union to PO Box 41072, Lubbock, TX 79409.
